“WonderCon Part 1″ by Tony DiGerolamo

I got a free preview of the first issue of The Two Percent Solution from Singletary, Murphy and Hobson. I think the boys are still looking for a publisher. The comic is 30 color story pages. It’s tough to describe the story without giving away a major plot point in the first issue, but two buddies go drinking and fishing one weekend. They get rained out and have to crash in an abandoned bunker. When they emerge, the world has changed for the worst.

This is real slice of life stuff mixed with disaster/tragedy. After the boys emerge from the bunker, you really want to see what the Hell happened, which I imagine will be the thrust of the story. Somebody really ought to pick these guys up and publish their comic. The art was solid, too. You can check them out on myspace at www.myspace.com/thetwopercentsolution. I can tell you that the title refers to the fact that the characters are on scooters and that’s the mixture of oil and gas.
